So every morning like every parent we wake up in the morning drag out asses out of bed, get "dressed" or look appropriate for the morning. And drive the the morning mombies/dadbies (instead of zombies) we are. I turn on the radio and there are commercials. So we drive from the home, onto the street where we see other parents, children, bus riders and so on. Finally we get to the street where the school is and we have to drop down to 20 mph zone. And we hate the 20 mph zone it feels like it takes us forever to go somewhere. As my daughter drags her "heavy" book bag as I tell her stop dragging the whole house with you to your school (she dragged her marker collection). Just like stop dragging your bedroom to my living room to the dinning and my bedroom. I drop her off waiting for the other cars to drop off their kids. Then its my turn drop her off saying see ya later. In this cold ass freezing hell it is at 7:18 am. Then driving along from the drop off zone. I'm in the left lane waiting to turn left to go back home. And here comes Michael Jackson singing The Way You Make Me Feel. I'm all zoned out enjoying the music as this giant school bus is in front of me has their turn signal on I give them a good five feet of space in case they have an emergency. The bright red light flickering in my face just messing with the shit out of my eyes. And I'm still zone out to the music as Michael sings the way you turn me on! I feel this big bump on the back of my car. I zoned back into reality thinking what the hell just happened? I put my old man on park (its a '97 Bonneville); exit my vehicle and went to see if the other driver was okay. ***Pardon me on this*** I thought this was deleted Thank god! I don't have to type this over!!!! So I bent down hunched over check out the bumper of both cars, at 7:20 am it seemed okay because it was dark outside at the time. I was all calm as Michael keeps singing in the background. I did not look at the license plate at the time because I was more concerned with the "damage" and the other driver's safety. I asked for her car insurance information she did not want to give it out at least a few times. I was insisting because it is the right thing to do when you are involved in a car incident. And its the law. So we're thinking at the time its no big deal it wasn't a serious injury/accident. Then when getting back into my old man Michael is still singing. The woman gets back into her minivan behind me then decides to take the right lane and go right. At that time I should've taken down her license plate. But this is seriously my first accident not a big one only minor. When I got home I felt like a huge cramp on the right side of my neck very pain full. I tried taking a nap the pain level was like 7.5/10. Did not work I wanted to cry because the pain was so bad and still is. Its the afternoon where the fuck is my miracle pain reliever (motrin) I will hunt you down. So I'm scrambling in the house looking insane for this bottle and Ah HAH I found it. Take the mortin and I'm waiting for it to kick in... stares at the clock its almost time to pick up my daughter. Damn it its not working ugh grabs the gatorade, get in the car with the senor citizen I take care of. I see white minivans almost everywhere when I'm driving to her school as the sun rays blind me. Oh universe why do you have to play such cruel tricks on me what the fuck. So I'm waiting in the pick up/drop off zone lane. And I see more minivans what fresh hell is this I say. Stares into the clouds saying really? really universe?? The line starts moving I loose sight of the white mini vans that moves into the no sight zone where tall buildings block my way to scope the plates. Nope so we get to the drive way to exit the school and I see a very very long line to take the left turn for me to get home. And then the light shines onto me the whole right lane is wide open no cars in sight. So I take it get my phone to record my voice as I drive my to get the plates that I have read off. Took a detour by driving to the local grocery store and just drove my way back home. And my gut tells me its the first one I read off. So I look again for the minivan. No show on the second day. The third day I get very lucky the school has a winter holiday festivity. I see the same woman that drove into my old man that left a white stain and made a crack more bigger on my bumper. I ask her very gently like hey didn't I bump into you the other day I think it was Wednesday. She rushed into a no. I'm like yep thats her. Because a normal person would move their eyes to the back of their head and actually think. The day goes on now I am home white my daughter exploits netflix. And I'm unfortunately still in pain. DAMN YOU WINTER!!! My body is stabbing me and shocking the hell of me. Until next time. I will leave an update. And that song will forever be associated with that accident.
